British Unionists, military Veterans, and local residents are calling for the flying of the Union flag to be extended in Rushmoor; (Farnborough & Aldershot).
Zack Culshaw, Former UKIP Hampshire County Chairman & Deputy Nominating Officer, called for the Union flag-flying to be extended in a brief Facebook post. Mr. Culshaw also represented UK Independence Party (UKIP) as their Borough & County Council candidate for both Knellwood and Farnborough South last year.

I am calling for Union flag-flying to be extended to Farnborough & Aldershot (Rushmoor).
Zack Culshaw, Former UKIP Hampshire Chairman
Flying the Union flag is a proud and symbolic reminder of a shared history, culture, and heritage that binds us as one people; The British people. Local, county, and national governments should be pressed to help extend the flying of our flag.
Farnborough is the home of British aviation and Aldershot is considered the home of the British Army, so it would be very wise and prudent to extend flag-flying in Rushmoor (Farnborough & Aldershot) and should be considered the decent and moral thing to do as a mark of respect for our Queen, country, Veterans and Armed Forces alike.
Civilian residents, Armed Forces personnel, Veterans, and political candidates in Rushmoor would appreciate a bit of national pride injected back into the local area and I doubt very many people would oppose such an idea.
We approached Mr. Culshaw for a comment on his recent post and he said:
The flag of Britain represents a shared history, culture, and future between England, Wales, Scotland & Northern Ireland. We should be very proud of being the custodians of the most successful political union ever created and we must always defend it.
